## Where to look (read-only)

- Founder X/Twitter posts and bios
- LinkedIn profiles (public info only)
- Personal websites and technical blogs
- GitHub orgs and repos
- Public demos, talks, and podcast appearances

## Filter for

- Founders who ship technical work publicly
- Active builders, not pure marketers
- Companies where the founder is reachable and technically credible
- Specific hooks for outreach (demo, post, repo, talk)

## Workflow

1. Find founder or technical lead via public profile.
2. Read recent posts — identify specific technical hook for outreach.
3. Ensure company exists — **`scripts/new_company.py`** if new.
4. **`scripts/new_contact.py`** with role (Founder, CTO, Research Lead, etc.).
5. Note outreach_surface score and hook in contact/company notes.
6. Draft outreach later via **`compose-message`** — never auto-send.

## Do not

- Auto-connect, auto-DM, or auto-follow
- Scrape private profile data
- Invent email addresses
- Send messages without Ryan's explicit approval
